Director, Upper School (The Institute)
The Institute is our upper school for the social sciences: a 64-course university-register catalog with 641 lessons and 2,100+ assessments, serving college-track students in grades 10-12, adult individual takers, and — as mother courses — the K-12 ladders below it.
You will
Direct the catalog: sequence, rigor, and register. Govern the course-ladder program (enrichment, remediation kickers, skill development, SAT preparation). Set assessment and gradebook policy for individual takers. Oversee pre-college recommendations beginning at grade 10. Keep vocational-track access welcoming and interest-driven.
You bring
An advanced degree in a social science. University teaching or curriculum leadership experience. Experience with online course delivery. The editorial judgment to keep 64 courses in one voice.
Register once, receive your six-digit code, then upload your resume and invite two recommenders from your portal.

Total compensation is built in three parts: the base salary target; the ability to generate additional comp tied to what your desk grows (enrollment, membership, collection value — measured, not vague); and stock grants — equity in Urbanicity LLC (membership units) vesting with service, so the founding staff own part of what they build.
